The Cretaceous - Mosasauroidea
The Cretaceous Dinosaur Wooden Puzzle Series features original illustrations by Taiwanese designer Xiuquan Tian, using vibrant, contrasting colors and simple embellishments to create unique dinosaur images. Designed by the Haili Fish team, the die-cut lines skillfully combine puzzles with dinosaur fossils, making the assembly process feel like a journey back to the Cretaceous period.
Puzzle that tells story
Mosasauroidea
The superfamily Mosasauroidea, also known as mosasaurs, were highly successful aquatic and semi-aquatic marine lizards, serving as the final top predators in the Mesozoic seas. They lived during the last 40 million years of the Cretaceous period, and their fossils are frequently found in the North American Seaway. The genera Mosasaurus, Tylosaurus, and Prognathodon are currently the three most well-known and largest genera of mosasaurs. Members of Mosasauroidea are often mistakenly referred to as "sea dinosaurs" or "giant crocodiles," but mosasaurs are actually a distinct group of squamates, different from the archosaurs to which dinosaurs and crocodiles belong.
