Tyrannosaurus
Tyrannosaurus rex, also known as T. rex, is a species of theropod dinosaur and one of the most iconic large theropod dinosaurs. T. rex was a carnivorous dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, primarily in what is now the United States and Canada, approximately 68 million to 66 million years ago. It is considered one of the largest terrestrial carnivores, with a massive skull balanced by a long, heavy tail. T. rex is one of the most recognizable and well-known dinosaurs in modern dinosaur culture, frequently featured in various movies, children's books, and museum exhibits whenever the concept of "dinosaur" is introduced.
